Yesterday’s Rainbow

We are like the Sun and the Rain…
individually unique and powerful in the main.
Yet alone we were also overlooked - perhaps too mundane.

Gifted with sight to see what others miss…
two as One - Each more for this.
We began our journey drenched in bliss.

When we join - hand in hand…
we create a rainbow - soothingly grand.
Bathed in that balanced glow - all darkness we can withstand

If we lose our gifted sight…
radiance fades as dark fights light.
Then we are separated - first  scorched… then drowned - bathed in only spite.

The past is past if we but let go…
If we clear our lives of all senseless tableau.
Only together can we bath in the glowing bliss of yesterday’s rainbow!
