Yearning

When the rush of life rests... the roar of seclusion sets in...
sublimation with family, friends, and work only mutes the yearning!
Longing for a connection beyond the predicated role of parent, friend, coworker drives the desire for the shared trust that enables another to peel back armor and mask.

In being so exposed there is not vulnerability but empowerment...
power that comes from the affirmation of another who sees beyond role, mask, and flaw. Clarity comes in the mirror of a lover’s eye for they alone see and reflect our inner person.

Within the safety of... trust, truth, and openness shared between lovers comes the freedom to explore beyond the boundaries and role society restrains us within... to find that rare state of harmony... where two mingle as one - in mind, body, and spirit thereby becoming more than the sum yet also emerging more resilient individually.

Mere hunger and thirst are but silent companions easily placated but... the craving for an intimate connection is an all enveloping siren that can only be sated by the Right One.
